They make them for the Note 10.3 and Note 2 etc, but they don't have one yet for the Note Air. But I guess it's better than nothing.īTW, over on Amazon, supposedly the Screen Protectors made by HealingShieldKorea for the Boox devices have good reviews. To get that paper like writing feel though, it would need a self healing film like what the other two mention have and I honestly don't think the protector provided by Boox is like that. So going naked on the Note Air would be the same.

Don't most windows tablets/laptops that have a wacom type digitizer glass screen and most of the pen/styluses have very hard nib/tips? I have a few and haven't seen the glass screens scratched. Still, I don't think a ceramic nib pen/stylus would scratch up a glass screen. Seems both nibs are both hard ceramic, but I have no proof or documentation if the Boox Pen is. Now the only difference I see between the Supernote Shinonome Pen and the Boox Pen is that the Supernote one has a. When you wrote " the review you linked is nightmare fuel " I said what is that about? So I went back and reread it and lol I assume you are talking about the dead bug smashed in the middle of the protector among other things. Omg, the review you linked is nightmare fuel. I don't want to fail to apply the screen protector :-O And I wish it comes with a pre-applied film. I'm pretty sure that *any* screen protector will make the writing feel better on the Air, since it's pure glass without the protector. (or onyx uses a pen tip that's softer then the SuperNote pen, but uses the same "refill" shape as interior) Sooooo the Boox pen is also described as "stiff" does that mean it will also need the special soft film? That would be my conclusion but only time will tell and I'm overly excited to get the device :-D. Other screens and protectors will be scratched by the pen nib. If I understand correctly then the stiff and ceramic pen tips from SuperNote NEEDS the special self-healing soft film protector.

I agree and it's very strange that they don't talk about the Protector in the article that details the new Boox Pen.
